Our client is a well-established main car dealership based in Dartford, Kent, seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Diagnostic Technician. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments on vehicles to identify faults and issues.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools effectively and safely.
  • Prepare detailed reports on diagnostic results and communicate findings to the service team.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the workshop.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Diagnostic Technician in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to relay technical information to colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ in Automotive Engineering or equivalent, are highly desirable.
