Established Main Dealer Group Based in Canterbury, Kent Part-Time Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM to 1PM Circa £14,000 Per Annum Monday Matters Recruitment is working with a well-established main car dealership in Canterbury to recruit a Part Time Service Administrator to join their busy aftersales team. This is a great opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator who is looking for a part time position within the automotive industry. Previous motor trade experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right person. Monday Matters Recruitment is working with a well-established main car dealership in Canterbury, Kent, to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales team. Motor trade experience is NOT essential. We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have a strong background in customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, call centres or other customer-facing environments and are looking to take the next step into the automotive industry. The Role: As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle's service and repair journey. You will build strong customer relationships, understand their requirements and ensure they receive an excellent level of service from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include: Welcoming customers into the dealership and understanding their requirements Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, repairs and maintenance Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process Preparing and explaining repair estimates and invoices Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team Identifying additional work and opportunities to enhance the customer experience Handling customer queries professionally and efficiently Ensuring every customer receives a high standard of service What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is confident, personable and genuinely enjoys dealing with people. The business offers an exciting and diverse range of high-end, niche and specialist vehicles to customers across the UK and international export markets. Their portfolio includes iconic marques such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Range Rover, alongside specialist imports. The company also specialises in bespoke VIP vehicle conversions, including Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Sprinter conversions, as well as the VIP-class LEVC London Taxi. Their customers include High Net Worth individuals, collectors and automotive enthusiasts, so the focus is firmly on providing a highly personalised, professional and relationship-driven service. The Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Car Sales Executive to join this high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced salesperson looking to move away from the traditional high-volume dealership environment and into a more specialist, premium sales role. You will manage the complete sales journey, from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover, dealing with both UK and international customers across a diverse portfolio, with a particular focus on new GM American vehicles and premium used brands. The successful candidate will be confident selling high-value vehicles and understand the importance of delivering an exceptional customer experience at every stage. Key Responsibilities Manage and respond to sales enquiries from UK and international customers. Conduct professional face-to-face and remote vehicle presentations and consultations. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers. Provide expert product advice and a highly personalised customer experience. Work towards and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Manage the full sales process, including test drives, finance discussions, negotiations and documentation. Proactively prospect and network to generate new business opportunities. Attend automotive events, shows and promotional activities when required. Maintain a high level of product knowledge across prestige, performance, specialist and American vehicles. Deliver a consistently professional service to a discerning customer base. About You We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: A minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive sales. Ideally, experience selling prestige, luxury or performance vehicles. A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. A professional, articulate and customer-focused approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience dealing with HNW individuals or an understanding of luxury customer service is desirable. The confidence and ability to sell high-value products to a discerning clientele. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. A self-motivated, organised and commercially driven approach. Full UK driving licence. A reasonable commute to North/West London.
